Job Title CBAT Data Analyst and Statistician Department Office of the Dean, College Of Business and Technology - 22000 Pay Grade 8 Job Category Administrative Job Summary
The Office of the Dean within the College of Business and Technology is seeking a skilled Data Analyst and Statistician to lead and support data-driven projects focused on program assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will collaborate with assessment leaders to gather, analyze, and report on key data for accreditation bodies such as SACSCOC , AACSB , and ABET . You will manage data collection, perform statistical analysis, and assist in the development of assessment measures while contributing to faculty and staff development. Additionally, you will play a key role in preparing accreditation documentation, managing content knowledge tests, and supporting program rankings. This is a dynamic position offering the opportunity to directly impact the College's data-driven decision-making and accreditation success.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of basic statistical analysis including descriptive statistics, correlational analysis, and mean difference tests.
Knowledge of research methodology e.g., survey/measures, data gathering, analysis, reporting, etc.).
Knowledge of program assessment.
Knowledge of assessment accreditation criteria.
Knowledge of course management systems (e.g., D2L) and other higher education software (e.g., Banner).
Ability to develop and implement data collection project plans.
Ability to independently collect, analyze, and evaluate data and produce data visualizations capturing results.
Ability to comprehend and prepare needed data analysis reports and presentations.
Ability to develop new assessment systems and methods as needed.
Ability to identify and deploy software and systems to increase the efficiency of the assessment process (e.g., data collection and results dissemination).
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, math, statistics, computing or other position-relevant field.
Demonstrated skill with Excel and database tools (e.g. Access).
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in business, math, statistics, computing, or other position-related field.
Three to five years' experience performing data/statistical analysis using tools such as SPSS , Tableau, or PowerBI.
Three to five years' experience with program assessment and accreditation processes.
Knowledge of assessment components in faculty qualifications software (e.g., Watermark software suite) and survey development tools (e.g., Qualtrics).
Knowledge of and/or experience with live online test proctoring systems.
Knowledge of and/or experience with the application of artificial intelligence tools in program assessment processes.
Salary $38,835 - $46,515 based on experience
