Who We Are
PCMI (Policy Claim Management International) is a fast-growing, leading provider of integrated software for Extended Warranty Management and Finance and Insurance (F&I) administration. We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.
What You’ll Do
We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure the development team understands project objectives.
In this role, You Will
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
- User Stories: Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team, ensuring they are well understood.
- Backlog Management: Assist the Product Owner(s) in managing the product backlog, prioritizing user stories, and refining them.
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, facilitating communication and feedback.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Testing and Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and validate that developed features meet acceptance criteria.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of requirements, processes, and workflows.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience working in agile environments, specifically with Scrum methodologies.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Experience with SQL Databases (e.g., MS SQL).
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation software.
- Strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices, including roles, ceremonies, and artifacts.
Skills
- Proficient in eliciting, documenting, and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
- Ability to write clear and actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and stakeholder meetings to drive discussions and decision-making.
- Knowledge of backlog grooming and prioritization techniques, assisting the Product Owner as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and adjust to new challenges quickly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with software development processes and basic technical concepts to bridge communication between business and technical teams.
