FORKLIFT OPERATOR (Temporary to Full-time)

The role
If you enjoy a fast-paced, physical position that gets you up and moving, then our Forklift Operator position may be a fit for you. Work within our Distribution Center to operate equipment (forklifts, walkies, pacers and high-reach trucks) to move materials. You will also handle cartons by performing pallet picks, case picks, pallet building and placing cases on our conveyor.
What you bring to the role
Knowledge & Skills
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Candidates must be 18 years or older
· Must be able to pass Powered Equipment Certification tests for each piece of equipment assigned before operation.

· A positive attitude and willingness to work as a team to accomplish company goals
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout the day
· Must be able to speak, read, and understand English in order to receive instructions and communicate with team members
· Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, safety warnings, and equipment operation
· Vision is required in order to operate a radio-frequency keyboard and/or scanner and complete required data-entry
