Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced hands on Director of Safety, Security & Training to joing TEAMBLEAU! Responsible for hotel wide, safety and loss prevention preparedness through the effective development and training of hotel safety related material to include OSHA requirements, departmental operating procedures, and partnered training with law enforcement.

License/Certificate:
Certified CPR, First Aid and AED instructor training preferred.

Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced hands on Director of Safety, Security & Training to joing TEAMBLEAU! Responsible for hotel wide, safety and loss prevention preparedness through the effective development and training of hotel safety related material to include OSHA requirements, departmental operating procedures, and partnered training with law enforcement.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following:
- Liasion with HR on all matters involving training internally and externally.
- Identify training and development needs hotel wide.
- Conduct safety training to include OSHA related requirements.
- Development of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Conduct internal and external training (hotel wide and departmental training)
- Partnered training with law enforcement to include cc fraud, conterfeiting, handcuff training, etc.
- Ensure that compliance with statutory training and licensure is met.
- ldentify and implement career/specialized training development for all security positions (Basic to Managerial).
- Assist the managers to solve specific training issues, either on an individual basis or in groups.
- Produce training materials and manuals.
- Maintain a spreadsheet of training initiatives to include topic, date and attendance.
- Maintain all manuals (FB and Security) per HR and departmental specifications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws.
- Effective supervisory and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, management, and staff. Ability to plan, organize and effectively communicate training through the use of verbal, written and electronic methods.
- Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills. Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
