Responsibilities:


• Establish, implement, and enforce general accounting policies and procedures

• Supervise the preparation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Direct the maintenance and review of general ledger balances, including the preparation of monthly account reconciliations

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements for business leaders and shareholders

• Analyze financial data, identify variances, and communicate root causes effectively

• Drive improvements in operations to increase the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and data

• Conduct or supervise financial audits for the company in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

• Participate in special projects and perform other accounting related duties as requested

• Provide support, supervision, training, and development for direct reports to promote problem-solving skills, efficiency, understanding, and professional growth

• Leverage proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and other skills to drive productivity, efficiency, and accuracy in accounting and finance functions.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of accounting

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is necessary

• Ability to Analyze Variance and Identify Variance is crucial

• Must have excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary

• Must be a team player with the ability to work independently

• Certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred.
