Robert Half is looking to expand our team with a dedicated Accounting Clerk in Baltimore, OH. This role is a contract to hire employment opportunity within an industry that demands precision and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tasks ranging from account reconciliation to invoice processing.


Responsibilities:


  • Execute data entry tasks with accuracy, ensuring all relevant information is recorded in our systems.
  • Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) efficiently, maintaining an organized record of all transactions.
  • Perform account reconciliation regularly, identifying and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Oversee billing procedures, guaranteeing all invoices are issued according to our policies and within the set deadlines.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop
  • Monitor customer accounts, addressing any issues or queries that customers may have.
  • Process customer credit applications, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to organize data and perform financial calculations.
  • Proficient in Account Reconciliation procedures and methods.
  • Experience with handling Accounts Payable (AP) and managing related tasks.
  • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) and its associated processes.
  • Ability to perform Billing tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong skills in Data Entry, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed.
  • Experience with Invoice Processing, including checking, verifying, and recording invoices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and other advanced functions.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks software and its various functions.
