We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices for our client. This is a Monday to Friday position operating from 8:30am to 5:00pm ONSITE role. if you have the qualifications needed, apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Calculate costs of goods and services
- Track and record deliveries to customers
- Distribute invoices for sales review
- Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
- Perform all other office tasks
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and general ledger entries.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable functions by processing payments and invoices.
- Process incoming payments, including cash, checks, and electronic transactions, promptly.
- Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields
- Experience in data entry
- Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass a background check and drug screen on site
