We are searching for a Director of Accounting to join our manufacturing team in Salisbury, North Carolina. In this role, you will be in charge of leading company-wide accounting consolidation, reporting, and treasury functions. You will also have the opportunity to oversee and develop the accounting organization within a corporate and shared services environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the creation, updating, and improvement of financial reporting
• Handle the preparation and presentation of regular reports for review by senior management and the board
• Manage timely financial close in collaboration with accounting managers and corporate accounting staff
• Oversee the consolidation of financial results, ensuring familiarity with multi-currency consolidation in an ERP environment
• Handle the reporting of financials to our parent company, adhering to public company timelines
• Support treasury operations, including liquidity optimization and managing banking relationships
• Develop and manage the Accounting organization, ensuring its growth and efficiency
• Handle other duties as assigned, ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting department.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
• Proven experience in leading business transformation initiatives
• Solid understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Demonstrated expertise in Month End Close procedures
• Proficient in managing General Ledger activities
• Experience in preparing and analyzing Consolidated Financial Statements
• Knowledge and experience with Consolidated Balance Sheet preparation
• Demonstrated experience in consolidations and corporate consolidation processes
• Familiarity with International Accounting standards and practices
• Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting principles
• Proficiency in US GAAP standards and regulations
