Part-time Accounting Specialist Job at Robert Half in Charlotte

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves processing daily reports using in-house software and QuickBooks, monitoring customer accounts, and handling weekly payroll through ADP. The Accounting Specialist will be integral to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting functions.

Responsibilities
• Utilize QuickBooks on a daily basis to manage and report on company finances
• Handle weekly payroll using ADP
• Use in-house software to generate daily reports for financial management
• Maintain accurate accounting records to ensure financial transparency
• Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure accurate input of invoice data into the system
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Utilize Cash Pro through BOA for various financial tasks
• Perform additional accounting tasks as needed to support the financial health of the company.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Ceridian
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to perform all basic Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Auditing
• Proficient in performing Billing Functions
• Experience in using QuickBooks
