Growing and dynamic company in the Entertainment sector is looking to hire MULTIPLE Accounting Coordinator's w/QuickBooks and Payroll experience to support their CA and NY Office's.
***Previous entertainment experience is a PLUS but not required
REQUIREMENTS:
1-8 years of experience
• QuickBooks proficiency
• Payroll proficiency
• MAC OS proficiency (company does not use PC/Windows OS)
• Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Assist in Accounts Payable and CA & NY Shop Payroll
• Weekly NY Shop Payroll
• Create a report summarizing the hours and labor totals for weekly NY Shop Payroll.
• Communicate with HR any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Track and record payment into QuickBooks.
• Communicate with the NY Operations Manager to create a report summarizing the total labor cost per job.
• Weekly CA & NY SHOP
• Out of Pocket Reimbursement & Mileage
• Review report, job codes, mileage backups, expense receipts, and calculations, confirm approval, post to QuickBooks and process payables for payment.
• Bi-weekly CA Shop Payroll
• Create a report summarizing the hours, labor totals, medical, dental, vision benefits, and CALSAVERS contributions for bi-weekly CA Shop Payroll.
• Communicate with HR any discrepancies in a timely manner. Track and record payment into QuickBooks.
• CALSAVERS (Shop Contribution)
• Review CALSAVER Shop Contribution for bi-weekly CA Shop Payroll.
• Upload contributions to CALSAVERS.
• Payroll Summary Reporting.
• Communicate with the NY Operations Manager and the VP, Scenic Services to create a report summarizing the total labor cost per job.
• Monthly Reconciliation of American Express
• Review, post and reclass if needed and rectify monthly American Express transactions.
• Out of Pocket Reimbursement & Mileage (Payable on the 20th of the month)
• Review report, confirm approval, post to QuickBooks and process to payables for payment.
• Autopay Vendors (CA & NY)
• Keep track of autopay vendors and office utility bills.
• Post bills, expenses, and payments in QuickBooks.
• Update Autopay Tracker.
• Business License Applications, Submission, & Payments
• Per Job/Per Request.
• Communicate with the production team to complete the application for a business license.
• Submit and process payment for the requested license.
• NY Violations
• Record and pay NY Trucking Violations
• Assist in general accounting needs.
