Methodist Home for Children seeks a dedicated Executive Assistant to be a key partner to our President and a liaison to our Agency Board of Directors. What You'll Do:
As our Executive Assistant, you will:
- Be the President’s right-hand person, providing comprehensive administrative and technical support while helping to keep priorities on track.
- Support the Board of Directors, serving as a liaison and recording secretary for Board and committee meetings.
- Manage scheduling for the President’s office, including coordinating Board and committee meetings.
- Oversee office budgeting, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and contracts to help fulfill our mission.
- Maintain essential documentation and ensure smooth communication across departments by supporting our VP of Program Development & Contracts and our CFO.
Why You’ll Succeed:
Your strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, combined with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality, will enable you to effectively support our leadership team and Board. Experience with managing budgets, coordinating projects, and maintaining complex schedules will be essential.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years in a senior administrative role.
- Advanced computer literacy and excellent writing and editing abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with Board members, government officials, and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and personal vehicle insurance if needed for agency business.
