This pivotal role involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, and handling all aspects of the organization's operations, including compliance with federal and state guidelines. The Executive Director will also be responsible for public relations, events, and maintaining a strong presence in the community. Applicants for the Hospice Executive Director position at the company must meet specific qualifications. A current RN license is required, along with a minimum of 3 years' in healthcare and 5 years' in a leadership role, preferably at the executive director level in a hospice setting. The ideal candidate will have a background in business development and proven growth capabilities. Additionally, the role demands a leader who is immediately available to be on-site during business hours and can ensure the agency's success through effective oversight, support, and coaching of the hospice team. The Executive Director will also be involved in the hiring process, maintaining departmental budgets, and overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures, and quality improvement programs.
