About the Role
The Company is in search of a Hospice Executive Director to lead the organization in achieving its mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients. The successful candidate will be tasked with setting and implementing goals for hospice services, managing the facility's operations, and ensuring that all activities are in line with the organization's commitment to conscientious and humane patient care. This pivotal role involves overseeing staff, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations, and managing budgets and billing. The Executive Director will also be responsible for hiring and training new employees, establishing healthcare standards, and handling public relations and events. Applicants for the Hospice Executive Director position at the company must have a current RN license and a minimum of 3 years' of healthcare experience, with a preference for those with 5 years' of leadership experience. A background in hospice care at the executive director level is also preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of patients. The Executive Director will be expected to have a strong understanding of business development and growth capabilities, as well as the ability to ensure the organization's success through effective oversight and support of the hospice team. Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations is essential, and the candidate must be immediately available to address any operational needs.
