About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its hospice and palliative care services in the Wood River Valley community. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing patient care, managing the business and financial affairs, and ensuring that the organization's services are well-known and accessible to the community and other healthcare providers. This role involves leading a team of healthcare professionals, including direct patient care as needed, and actively participating in fundraising and community activities. The Executive Director will also be tasked with designing and implementing programs that support the mission of the organization and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Chief Medical Officer and the Board of Directors. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a current state physician or nursing license, with a preference for a licensed physician or registered nurse. A background in hospice, home health, or a similar healthcare delivery system, along with recent experience in hospice and palliative care, is required. The ideal candidate will have a combination of clinical and progressive leadership experience, be proficient in communication, and have a proven track record in managing fiscal budgets and financial reporting.
