About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing safe, decent, and affordable housing to families in need. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the organization, including financial, operational, and administrative aspects. This role involves working closely with the Board of Directors to establish and implement policies, strategies, and objectives in line with the company's vision. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include managing the business of the affiliate, maintaining close relationships with construction and ReStore management, overseeing office operations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The Executive Director will also take a lead in fundraising, marketing, and partner relations, and provide leadership for the staff, volunteers, and the family support committee. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a BA or BS degree, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 5 years of experience in non-profit management or a related field. The role requires a candidate who is highly proficient in standard software, has excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate strong leadership and organizational abilities. Knowledge of mortgage procedures, fundraising principles, and the home construction process is essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, have a proven track record in resource development, and be able to foster effective relationships with the Board, staff, volunteers, and the community at large.
