About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of empowering high-achieving, low-income high school students to succeed in college and beyond. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the organization, working closely with the Board of Directors and various stakeholders to define and amplify the company's impact. This role requires a leader with a strong belief in the transformative power of higher education, who can manage the organization's strategic and operational aspects, including human and financial resources. The Executive Director will also be tasked with fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and will play a key role in fundraising, and developing and maintaining relationships with community partners and funders. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a progressive senior-level leadership background, with a preference for experience in the educational, nonprofit, or philanthropic sectors. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, problem solver, and possess excellent communication skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. A proven track record in fundraising and a passion for the mission of the organization are essential. The role demands a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as the ability to lead a team, manage budgets, and ensure the organization's growth and sustainability. Experience in youth education and a background in college and career success fields are also highly valued.
