About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Transplant Center, which operates across two major academic medical centers. The successful candidate will serve as the senior administrative leader, with a primary focus on setting the vision and strategic priorities for the Transplant Center, ensuring financial stewardship, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include overseeing transplant administration, initiating and growing organ-based transplant programs, and monitoring the performance of these programs. The role also involves leadership in financial management, program development, and human resources, as well as collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the center's outreach and development activities. Applicants must have a minimum of 8-10 years' of administrative and management experience in an academic medical center, with a strong preference for those who have led a transplant center or similar program. A Master's degree in a related field is required, with an MBA, MHA, or MSA being strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business and strategic planning, financial management, and multi-organ transplant program administration. They should be adept at leading multidisciplinary teams, have excellent communication skills, and be capable of fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. The role demands a leader who can effectively manage resources, develop and implement policies, and ensure the center's operations align with its established goals.
