The Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting the dentist and dental hygienist in providing primary care dental services to patients. This includes assisting during procedures, handling sterilization, and managing dental instruments and supplies. The Dental Assistant must ensure that the treatment rooms are prepared and maintained, and that patient records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Create a Comfortable Experience: Show care and concern, helping patients feel at ease during their visit.
- Prep Like a Pro: Set up treatment rooms and prepare instruments and supplies for procedures.
- Be the Dentist’s Right Hand: Assist the dentist and dental hygienist during procedures to provide top-quality care.
- Keep Things Sparkling: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms according to sterilization procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Stay on Top of It: Update patients' radiographs, review health histories, and record accurate treatment notes.
- Educate and Empower: Provide patients with instructions and demonstrate proper techniques when necessary.
- Take and Pour Impressions: Trim models, make nightguards, and create whitening trays.
- Team Player: Perform expanded functions and other tasks assigned by the dentist.

- Schedule: Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (travel required between offices 2 days a week)
