Position 1: This Scrum Master position will specifically be supporting the Home Energy Report (HER) team. We are seeking an individual with a servant leader mindset that will coach the product team to ensure our customers continue to receive the necessary information to continue to be energy efficient. Position 2: Scrum Master for BTS Communications – Team Mosaic and Code Daemons This Scrum Master position will specifically be supporting two of the teams in the BTS Communications organization. Team Mosaic provides customers with timely usage information through various channels to provide more control over their monthly bill. The Code Daemons team supports various applications including push notifications, demand response and vegetation management program support and service notifications. There are several different experiences represented within the team and within each of these experiences there are dedicated durable scrum teams that leverage an agile framework to support the existing programs along with creating new ones. We are seeking an individual with a servant leader mindset that will coach multiple Agile teams. The Scrum Master will have broad experience with Agile frameworks. Major responsibilities include planning and developing processes across the teams to deliver value. The Scrum master will work closely with team members, product owners, scrum masters and stakeholders to escalate impediments, help manage risks and drive relentless improvement. Scrum Master may be referred to as an Agilist or Agile Lead depending on Agile methods employed. Drives planning, roadmaps, backlogs and decisions across multiple Agile teams Participates in improvement and standardization activities across multiple Agile teams Assists in the execution of product vision Facilitates impediment resolution within teams and at the next level in a timely, cost-effective manner Guides teams to successful Agile practices and drives continuous improvement Provide leadership, oversight management, delegation, and coordination to the various internal organizations Manages relationships of all matrixed members of the team on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for interfacing with all team members Shows interest in learning about the products that are being developed and curiosity to understand not only how the team works but the work itself Challenges status quo and the thinking of the team to drive successful outcomes Demonstrates ability to ask thoughtful and critical questions of the team(s) to drive problem solving Drive Value Delivery for the product Facilitate events and processes to assist the teams in delivering value Establish and maintain communication among all team members. Open and honest and yet tactful, knows audience, and understands how to facilitate change Additional Preferred Qualifications Proficient in Agile scaling frameworks (e.g. SAFe, Scrum at Scale) Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills. Interacts effectively with others at all levels of the organization; makes persuasive and informative presentations.
