As a Senior Scrum Master (internally known as a Scrum Master Senior Advisor), you will work within a highly autonomous Scrum Team. who is part of a highly aligned technology organization . We are looking for Scrum Masters who are enthusiastic about solving problems across the organization as we continue to develop the Agile mindset, culture and excellence in all areas.
In this Scrum Master role you will be at the forefront of fostering a data-driven, high performing Scrum Team. Within the Scrum Team, you will aid in driving team health, delivery and recommendations on incremental improvements based on data. This role will work across departments to aid in reaching value delivery success!
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Foster a data-driven, high performing team
Introduces practices to improve Agile mindset
Champions data-driven incremental improvement
Aids team in achieving value delivery
Proactively removes impediments and blockers and enables teams to do likewise
Partner in driving team health as part of an organizational culture of collaboration and growth
Tracks metrics for delivery & Accelerate data
Actively look at data, understand the data and take steps towards improving based on data
Create transparency of outcomes by using data to show results of team improvement experiments
Stays ahead of the Scrum Team, proactively ensuring pieces are in place to execute
Support team toward successful value-driven deliveries with consistency and predictability in achieving Sprint Goals and team-driven outcomes
Drive team to define and execute on definition of done
Partners with Product Owner to ensure backlog is adequately refined and healthy
Partner with Engineering Leadership to drive incremental improvements and conflict resolution to improve team effectiveness
Ensure team data and dashboards are updated, accurate and effectively used by the team to take appropriate actions (ADO Boards, Confluence, etc.)
Facilitates ceremonies and events, ensuring events are productive, effective, and timeboxed
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science or the equivalence of experience.
Scrum Master experience with an Agile Scrum Team a must.
Demonstrated GO-TO for Agile techniques and processes.
Excellent track record for fostering high-performing Scrum Teams.
Excellent track record for driving data driven team health.
Strong ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, verbally and written, advocating for team and organizational needs through data, and escalating issues as needed.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.
Demonstrated ability to mentor junior Scrum Masters.
Skilled in conflict resolution.
Experienced with ADO.
CSM (Certified Scrum Master), A-CSM or CSP-SM a plus.
Experience with enabling an enterprise data scrum team a plus.
