The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with developers, testers, and business to identify functional requirements. Use existing user documentation and existing test environments to attain application knowledge. Document user stories and facilitate requirements elaboration meetings to obtain Business Owner approval on the proposed features.
Below are some of the responsibilities the Business Analyst may be expected to assume in their position:

  • Serves as the liaison between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the vendor’s support and development teams.
  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts effectively, transforms high-level information into details, and creates support strategies and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Develops requirements and specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
  • Identifies the implementation team’s strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
  • Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to develop help desk cases and provides the following documentation as needed: Issue Cases, Test Cases, and Problem Resolution Reports.
  • Collaborates with external stakeholders, agency personnel, and the vendor to ensure support issues are resolved satisfactorily.

The Must-Haves: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.

  • Must currently reside in the US.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology major (Or equivalent work experience)
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience creating User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Experience engaging with Stakeholders, Agile Scrum teams, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with JIRA, technical documentation, and Office 365 applications
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks to include scrum ceremonies
  • Ability to present analytical/organization skills, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize a product backlog
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • High School Diploma

Nice If You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience with SAFe Agile, a plus
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare domain
  • Ability to support development on multiple applications simultaneously
