    • Ensure welding processes and procedures meet AWS D17.1 Aerospace Specifications and other relevant industry standards.
    • Collaborate with Process Development Engineers to standardize welding processes and prepare them for production scalability.
    • Create internal welding procedures, ensuring quality conformance, in preparation for AS9100D Certification.
    • Conduct weld-related time studies, PFMEA, and Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
    • Source external suppliers for weld materials and fixtures, ensuring they meet quality standards.
    • Utilize MRP systems to manage work instructions, bills of materials, and procurement of parts related to weld operations.
    • Lead Value Stream Mapping efforts to identify areas for process improvement and predict future-state welding operations.
Basic Qualifications
    • B.S. in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, welding engineering, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of welding or manufacturing industry experience, with an emphasis on welding processes.
    • Experience working with AWS D17.1 Aerospace Welding Specification.
