Eaton's Aerospace Division is currently seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support our Orchard Park , NY facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $88499.97 - $134200.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

This position will Support all production groups to develop a roadmap for I4.0 and other advanced manufacturing (AM) improvements to support long term site goals, Lead in the identification of opportunities to improve quality and reduce cost through error-proofing, automation and RCPS, and Lead the deployment of new technologies; mentor and train SMEs to manage technologies deployed at their respective sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
•In conjunction with the I4.0 team coordinate and implement technology solutions aligned with FCO and 5 year plan expectations
•Deliver plan in line with budget and to achieve operational KPI's (safety, quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness)
•Report to Leadership as required on progress of improvement plans.
•Acts as change agent and lead communicator in ensuring buy-in across the site to ensure I4.0/AM/CI culture change
•Create, implement & roll-out a detailed communications plan for all improvements
•Develop further detailed plans, undertake pilots, make adjustments and adjust CI plans accordingly to achieve 5 year plan and operational excellence metrics
•Mentor and develop site ME/QE/CI engineers and technical support teams
•Undertake regular face to face site reviews to ensure projects and ROI are on-track
•Support other sites with I4.0/AM technology and changes.
•Lead and implement large scale CapEx projects across the site

•Experience with APQP / PPAP / PFMEA / DFMEA preferred

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical degree, from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience within a manufacturing environment.
- All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR Compliance - Either, a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee or Refugee.
- Relocation is not provided, all candidates must currently reside within 75 miles of Eaton's Orchard Park, NY facility.
- All Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship, now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience working in a continuous improvement environment.

Skills:
- Significant experience of delivering change programs
- Capability and gravitas to operate effectively with divisional site and executive team
- Skilled in conflict resolution
- Knowledgeable and experienced in Lean Enterprise methodologies, I4.0 methodologies, and advance manufacturing technologies
- Skilled in advanced / complex root cause problem solving
- Good communication skills at shop floor, technical and leadership levels
