Direct Hire / Day Shift

Summary:
Maintenance Technician "A" to perform highly diversified duties; install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.  In accordance with safety regulations. Perform predictive and preventive procedures to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Process electrical control knowledge
• Process industrial machinery knowledge
• Ability to test electrical and mechanical equipment and components
• Diagnose root cause of electrical and mechanical failures
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic  systems
• Install, repair, and maintain automated machinery and mechanical equipment
• Install, repair, and maintain plant facilities equipment
• General machinist Abilities  Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment
• Fast and retentive leaner
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
• An associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
