Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses and repairs, services & inspects facility equipment & property to include overhead cranes, production machinery, material handling and facility grounds.
  • Reviews work requests to determine problem & resolution, arranges schedules that results in minimum equipment downtime.
  • Complies with company and OSHA safety policies and safe practices to include lock out/ tag out, safety data sheets and hazardous material usage.
  • Inspects or tests damaged machines & makes the appropriate repairs & notifies the Management of repair needs & problems that might affect production schedules.
  • Performs building and equipment maintenance, repair, and improvements.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on CNC machinery, electrical and hydraulic systems, overhead cranes, and other fabricating equipment.
  • Installs, replaces, or changes machine parts, attachments, and new equipment according to production specifications.
  • Schedules outside contractors to perform major repairs & monitors the work performed
  • Reassembles machines after completion of repair and maintenance work.
  • Lubricates or applies adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to specified procedures.
  • Records production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
  • Reads maintenance repair work orders and specifications to determine machine & equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
  • Inspects, operates or test machinery/equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Plans repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals or schematic diagrams.
  • Executes and implements a preventive maintenance program to improve equipment reliability.


Position Qualifications:

  • High School/Technical School Graduate
  • Must possess a minimum of (5) years as an industrial maintenance supervisor is a manufacturing environment
  • Must possess a current driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and perform repairs
  • Ability to read English to read maintenance work orders, schematic drawings/blueprints, and maintenance/safety manuals
  • Ability to comprehend electrical-mechanical& hydraulic systems, HVAC, and plumbing systems
  • Knowledge of electricity (110, 230 and 460 voltage)
  • Experience of operating an overhead crane, forklift, hand tools and common shop machinery
  • Demonstrated ability to perform electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs
