LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Manufacturing Mechanical R & D Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of innovative ground control products designed to enhance safety and efficiency in various industries. Our client’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement drives us to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of their customers.

LHH is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical/R&D Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for research and development. This role involves designing, testing, and improving ground control products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and develop new ground control products and components.

  • Conduct research and feasibility studies to explore new technologies and materials.

  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.

  • Perform simulations and analyses to validate design concepts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.

  • Prototype and test new designs, analyzing results and making necessary adjustments.

  • Document design processes, test results, and project progress.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and ground control technologies.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and production teams.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design and R&D, preferably in the ground control or related industry.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to ground control products.

  • Travel is 10-20%



Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
