LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Manufacturing Mechanical R & D Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of innovative ground control products designed to enhance safety and efficiency in various industries. LHH is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical/R&D Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for research and development. This role involves designing, testing, and improving ground control products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop new ground control products and components.
Conduct research and feasibility studies to explore new technologies and materials.
Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
Perform simulations and analyses to validate design concepts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Prototype and test new designs, analyzing results and making necessary adjustments.
Document design processes, test results, and project progress.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and ground control technologies.
Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and production teams.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in mechanical design and R&D, preferably in the ground control or related industry.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to ground control products.
Travel is 10-20%
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
