Salary:

Position: Physical Security Specialist

Clearance: Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance w/SCI is required and current within the last five years

Work Location: Arlington, VA 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite (Regular Full-time)

Work authorization: United States (Required) 

 

Position Summary:

The Physical Security Specialist will provide ICD 705 expertise to all sites, brief and coordinate SAP and collateral security requirements.  They will monitor construction for accuracy, ensure accreditation paperwork is generated appropriately and resources/manpower is scoped appropriately and identify security clearance and SAP access requirements for handling classified hardware and information for F-35 air and ground systems at bed down sites.  They will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring floor plans, diagrams of electrical and communications wiring, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) connections, and security equipment layout (to include the location of intrusion detection equipment) for bed down commands and classified facilities.  The Ship and Site Activation Security Specialist will assist the services in defining facility and infrastructure requirements to meet F-35 bed down for all sites.  They will coordinate and participate in the development of CONUS and OCONUS Facilities Requirements Documents (FRDs).  The Physical Security Specialist must have a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility, eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information. 


Position Qualifications

  • Must have experience with SAPF construction and SAP operations.
  • Superior knowledge of the DoD 5205.07 and ICD 705 security requirements
  • Familiarity with embedded avionics security and working knowledge of Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS)
  • Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations
  • Must be able to work onsite in Arlington, VA.
  • Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
  • Independent self-starter, proactive and professional assertive
  • Must have a current passport.
  • Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Excellent briefing and technical writing skills.
  • Impeccable customer service skills.
  • Read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
  • Expert experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems to include Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Complete a security screening interview. 
  • The employee must maintain clearance, eligibility throughout employment. 
  • Must meet client suitability.
