9 Month Position
Description:
- Knowledge of integrating services into the classroom
- Chair IEP meetings and manage caseload. Complete required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports and goals.
- Assist the administrative team in establishing a school climate which encourages good conduct, positive attitudes and values for all students.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and staff members.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff members, parents, and students.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals and specialists to discuss individual student's modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions or problems. Work collaboratively to ensure interventions are effective.
- Participate in staff development and school improvement activities in order to maintain professional growth. Plan and incorporate best practices or new strategies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate School Social Worker endorsements registered in Will County
- Certificate of good health signed by a licensed medical provider
