Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation arrangements.
- Support the events team in creating event timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Help with on-site event setup and breakdown, ensuring all materials and equipment are in place and functioning properly.
- Engage with attendees during events, providing information and assistance to create a welcoming environment.
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and materials, ensuring all necessary items are ordered and available before events.
- Assist in post-event evaluations and feedback collection to improve future events and strategies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and take initiative when needed.
- Comfortable using technology and software commonly used in event planning, including Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the events industry.
