WAREHOUSE LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE

Location: New Castle, Delaware

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $18 an hour

Job Description:

Prepare next day transportation routes
Schedule outgoing contractor orders
Creating manifests for outgoing contractor shipments
Check in returned signed POD/BOL
Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
Tracking and fixing shipping errors
Preparing bills and invoices
Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving
Prior experience with operating a Hi-lo/Forklift
Must be able to squat and lift and push/pull heavy items (up to 50 pounds approx.)
Reliable transportation
Strong observational skills
A keen eye for detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Be able to work independently and accurately
Pass a Drug test & Background check
