Job DescriptionThe Data and Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. The Analyst will focus on identifying trends, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and generating reports that provide actionable insights for our Corporate Accounting team. This role requires strong analytical skills, and proficiency in data analysis tools, with a strong background in report writing and creation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Management
- Gather, organize, and maintain large sets of data from multiple sources
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems by validating and cleaning datasets
- Reporting and Analysis
- Develop and automate reports on key performance metrics
- Create ad-hoc reports to assist departments in making data-driven decisions
- Data Visualization
- Present data clearly and understandably using dashboards, graphs, and reports
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards for real-time monitoring of performance metrics
- Collaboration
- Work closely with teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant insights
- Partner with IT teams to improve data management systems and reporting tools
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Stay updated on industry trends, data analytics best practices, and emerging technologies that can enhance reporting capabilities

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis or reporting, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry
- 2 + years of advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is required
- Working knowledge of Alteryx is highly desired
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data in simple terms
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Schedule
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday in-office/on-property
