Job Description
The
Data and Reporting Analyst
plays a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. The Analyst will focus on identifying trends, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and generating reports that provide actionable insights for our Corporate Accounting team. This role requires strong analytical skills, and proficiency in data analysis tools, with a strong background in report writing and creation.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesData Collection and Management
Gather, organize, and maintain large sets of data from multiple sourcesEnsure data accuracy and consistency across all systems by validating and cleaning datasets
Reporting and Analysis
Develop and automate reports on key performance metricsCreate ad-hoc reports to assist departments in making data-driven decisions
Data Visualization
Present data clearly and understandably using dashboards, graphs, and reportsDesign and maintain interactive dashboards for real-time monitoring of performance metrics
Collaboration
Work closely with teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant insightsPartner with IT teams to improve data management systems and reporting tools
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reportingStay updated on industry trends, data analytics best practices, and emerging technologies that can enhance reporting capabilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field2+ years of experience in data analysis or reporting, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry2 + years of advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is requiredWorking knowledge of Alteryx is highly desiredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data in simple termsHigh attention to detail and accuracySchedule
