RefrigiWear, Inc. of Dahlonega, GA is looking to hire a full-time Buyer / Analyst to keep track of inventory trends in order to help our company grow. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUYER / ANALYST

In this position, you play an essential role with analyzing, identifying & interpreting inventory trends to make forecasting adjustments/sourcing decisions that help sustain our rapid growth. You oversee inventory demand and the procurement process for products that support our brand's offshore sourcing programs. With the information you acquire, you will recommend & execute buys throughout the year.

In addition, you ensure all purchases are meeting the specified quantity and delivery expectations. While maximizing our overall growth projection with new products, you also work to minimize our stockouts. Using an ERP operating system, you set up style information for each product, including the description, supplier, UPC number, weight, and size. You also use the system to provide daily maintenance and reports, including a material replenishment plan (MRP) which you use to analyze and plan production purchases for outsourced manufacturing.

Each month, you conduct demand review(s) by style and color to assist suppliers with capacity planning. You will also work closely with freight forwarding partners managing and executing all freight moves from origin to delivery while ensuring all costs are accurate. You have no problem establishing rapport with personnel at all levels of the inventory management process. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BUYER / ANALYST

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, manufacturing, finance, mathematics, or a related field and 1 year of professional experience OR 3+ years related work experience in inventory management, and/or demand planning with long lead-time inventory planning.
  • Analytical mind with strong mathematical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, strong business acumen & attention to details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis in Excel, working knowledge of MRP applications such as NetSuite ERP is a plus.
  • A self-starter, problem solver, goal oriented, highly detailed-oriented with a high-level approach to a team environment.
  • Ability to work out of the North Georgia headquarters in Dahlonega, Georgia

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time role works flexible hours, Monday through Friday + Hybrid 2 days from home / 3 days in office following a successful training period.
