Salary Range ($122,198-186,854) Yearly Job Open Date 10/24/2024 Job Close Date 10/31/2024 The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a professional interdisciplinary technical authority to provide strategic direction regarding project management, execution, and operational responsibility in assigned area(s). Considered a technical expert for the organization and provides strategic leadership and management to ensure project/program success. Work encompasses several phases of the planning and development process in which the employee defines and evaluates the design and development activities. Qualifications: - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain Top Secret Security clearance - This is a designated Drug Testing Position - Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) - Position may be Eligible for Referral Bonus Program Recruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1. Mastery-level professional knowledge of electronics engineering and computer science concepts, theories, principles, and practices and working knowledge of other disciplines, such as aerospace, industrial, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering; of a broad range of engineering standards, precedents, methods, and techniques to ensure work in compliance with regulations and standards; and the applicability of such knowledge to the full range of duties concerned with design, production, and maintenance of Operational Flight Programs, Automated Test Systems, Test Program Set Software, and other systems used to support the warfighter and weapons systems program offices. 2. Expert knowledge of development testing and evaluation sufficient to apply experimental theories and new applications to issues and provide technical advice and direction in support of weapon systems, subsystems, and/or support equipment. 3. Knowledge of integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment sufficient to plan, design, test, troubleshoot, evaluate, and oversee the development and/or sustainment of electronic systems or devices. 4. Knowledge of the principles of planning and program management; standard acquisition regulations, practices, and procedures; and other engineering disciplines. 5. Ability to devise and evaluate criteria, parameters, characteristics, and interrelationships for design approaches, and to assess the impact of new technology on current systems and processes. 6. Skilled at presenting complex information and educating others to support collaboration and teamwork. 7. Ability to apply both academic and learned concepts and methods to solve complex problems as well as conceive new ideas and methodologies for approaching problems to improve project, program and organizational performance. 8. Skilled at presenting complex information and educating others to support collaboration and teamwork. 9. A professional degree at the Bachelor's level from an ABET accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's in Computer Science or a closely related discipline is required. 10. The employee must meet, or be capable of meeting within 6 months, Information Assurance System Architects and Engineers (IASAE) Level II, Special Experience Identifier Code (SEI) CO2, in accordance with DoD8570.01M requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
