About the Position: The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for making sure all merchandise is safely and properly received and shipped out in a professional, organized, and compliant manner. Essential Responsibilities:

Receive and open packages under video camera to ensure integrity of the package contents. Greet customers and connect them with the appropriate Sales Associate or Purchasing Specialist. Conduct a final inspection of the merchandise to ensure that the shipping details are accurate. Pack and ship packages under video camera to ensure integrity of the package contents. Prepare overnight shipping packaging for the Purchasing department. Adhere to company security and confidentiality policies regarding customer information, credit status, etc. Assume responsibility for various office maintenance functions as requested, including but not limited to recycling, trash removal, or simple janitorial tasks. Organize the staff and workload to meet or exceed distribution productivity performance standards. Develop daily work plan as workload situation demands. Coordinate all shipping activities to provide a smooth and efficient flow of work. Keep alert for new ideas and improvements in operating methods and procedures. Make recommendations to improve work area layout, workflow, operating costs, and customer service, for consideration and approval of your supervisor or Director of Operations and other management personnel concerned. Participate in QC/IC (Quality Control/Inventory Control) of all processed inventory. Ensure that the work area is kept in a clean and safe manner and that inventories and equipment are properly protected against theft, fire and other hazards that may cause loss or damage. Follow-up on special material packaging, storage, and shipping to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Maintain a harmonious atmosphere with all departments and assure prompt attention to our customer needs. Work overtime as required by management or facility need. Collaborate with associates to meet team's daily goals and objectives. Handle multiple tasks in a high-volume environment, able to find other duties when there are down times. Monitor Work in Progress (WIP) to keep "clean floors" at the end of the processing day, adjusting where necessary to ensure efficient workflow. Collaborate with the team to address any shipping-related issues in a timely and organized manner, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Monitor shipment accuracy within the retail system, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain inventory integrity. Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours and carry and lift loads up to 50 pounds. Ability to work independently and safely. Other duties as assigned. Requirements:

1+ year(s) of shipping/receiving/logistics experience, preferably in the jewelry industry and/or luxury retail industry. Strong communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering world class customer service. Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently as well as part of a team. Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and CRM software. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to work standing up, walking, use hands to operate tools and equipment and must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds to constantly perform the essential job functions. The employee will be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, and pull. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
