This Opportunity: The Human Resources Senior Associate is a perfect opportunity for a professional at the beginning of their HR career. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day HR operations such as report creation, benefits management, new hire onboarding and offboarding, employee inquiries, and provide backup for the creation and maintenance of employee records using our Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). The HR Senior Associate will also participate in HR process transformation efforts, HR program development and be exposed to some aspects of employee relations. A high level of professional maturity, confidentiality and interpersonal communication with employees, leaders, and external stakeholders is essential for success. Location and Compensation: The position is based in Palladium's Washington D.C. office. For our prospective employees in the United States, please note that the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $75,000 to $95,000, and successful candidates may also be eligible for additional, variable incentive compensation dependent on the role. Reporting Lines: This role reports to the Sr. Manager HR Operations (ARBP) and will support various HRBPs, HR Employee Relations and HR Benefits leader(s) who will provide input on performance. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Team with HR Managers to support the day-to-day HR operations. Support the employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS data management, HR reporting, benefits administration, compliance, KRA setting, performance management, talent management and compensation support. Learn and own HR Reporting to support metrics and analytics used for leadership discussions. Support policy adjustments, handbook creation, regulatory compliance, and selected elements of employee relations activities. Organize events or training, establish and maintain HR calendar and support CHRO travel and meetings. Establish relationships with vendors and provide contract and billing support. Prepare and process invoices as needed. Support special projects for HR, including personnel file digitization and HRC audits. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in special events including recognition events and engagement activities. Proactively offer suggestions for process improvements. Essential Criteria: Experience in the government contracting sector, required. Exhibit personal integrity and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to work as an effective team member across functions. Ability to manage demanding workload and multi-task. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Demonstrated competence using Microsoft applications. Demonstrated competence using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Excellent interpersonal skills. Willingness and aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies. Desirable Criteria: Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. French or Spanish native language proficiency, highly desirable. Experience in human resource management is preferred. Experience in international development, preferred. SHRM-CP/PHR is preferred.
