The Opportunity:
Everyday Health Pregnancy & Parenting is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Manager to drive and own results for our affiliate initiatives across our Pregnancy & Parenting brands, including What to Expect and BabyCenter. You will focus on driving GMV sales for advertisers through affiliate commerce while driving growth across service-related affiliate programs. With expertise in affiliate advertising, you will orchestrate cohesive marketing strategies across email, push notifications, app messaging, online communities, and more. Reporting to the Director of Affiliate Partnerships, this role is highly collaborative, working across editorial, product, and email marketing teams to drive growth and deliver exceptional results.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in affiliate marketing, a passion for collaboration, and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends. If you excel at optimizing financial performance, driving online traffic and engagement, and leveraging data analytics to tell compelling stories, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing marketing strategies and objectives to drive traffic, boost engagement, and optimize conversions across online channels.
Contribute innovative ideas to support the affiliate strategy, identifying creative opportunities for revenue growth, expanding partnerships, and exploring new initiatives within the pregnancy and parenting niche.
Campaign Coordination:
Oversee planning, execution, and optimization of affiliate marketing campaigns/shopping content across email newsletters, app promotions, push notifications, etc. Work with the editorial team to develop a planning calendar and framework designed to deliver relevant shopping content at the right time. Collaborate closely with Editorial, Product, and Data Analytics teams regularly to optimize performance and set benchmarks (i.e. conversion rates, average order value) and traffic/reach of commerce content. Develop service-focused affiliate campaigns in categories such as Finance, Travel, and Mental Health, designed to engage users at multiple points in their journey and drive new incremental revenue streams. Performance Analysis:
Monitor and analyze KPIs related to conversion funnels and revenue performance, providing regular insights to stakeholders. Partner with the data analytics team to comprehend business trends by marketing channel, by retailer and category, identifying opportunities and challenges. Industry Trends and Best Practices:
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in affiliate marketing to inform growth strategies. Job Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years prior experience in product marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing. BA degree or equivalent. Proven experience in e-commerce and affiliate marketing, with knowledge of the Amazon Associates program, Impact Radius, or other relevant affiliate networks as a plus. Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization), and experience with affiliate marketing platforms (e.g., Amazon Associates, Impact, CJ, Rakuten) is a strong plus. Previous experience at an affiliate publisher or a pregnancy/parenting brand is a plus. You’re a self-starter, and you love improving processes and efficiencies. Our Culture and Values: We created our values together to guide our collective purpose and pursuits. We are collaborators and problem solvers.
