We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Ras Al Khaimah as Procurement Manager. Can you say ‘yes’? Do you treat your colleagues with respect? Do you always have the customer in mind? What you’ll be doing: Identify, evaluate, select, develop, and maintain a local supplier network within countries for raw materials, merchandise items, service providers etc. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers improving cost and price levels as well as delivery schedules. Lead management of top 5 suppliers based on spend and/or complexity. Maintain supplier quality, performance along with sustainability with frequent local supplier visits. Control and optimize Procurement costs within the countries incl. identifying opportunities for cost reduction and cost avoidance. Analyze procurement data together with in country teams to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction and efficiencies in the Procurement processes aligning and in compliance with both Global and Local Procurement Policies. Collaborate closely with the Planning, Logistics, Production and Product managers within countries to ensure timely material availability. Align Procurement activities with production schedules and demand forecasts including supporting the achievement of on-time deliveries (OTIF) and production targets. Measure, analyze and report Procurement key performance indicators (KPIs) locally and regionally. Lead and mentor a procurement team/s including setting clear KPI’s, performance objectives and with quarterly feedback and provide support and the tools to achieve their objectives. Maintain a culture of close collaboration and continuous improvement. What we’d love for you to have: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of relevant procurement management experience. Solid experience in procurement within the construction manufacturing, or related field is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis and planning. Understanding of local market dynamics, supplier landscapes, and industry trends. Proficient in standard Procurement software and ERP tools. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organized approach to work.
