Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support Job Details Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry with diagnoses of diabetes, med/surg, post op, wound vacs, bariatrics Ratio / Census: 1:5-6; 33 beds with average daily census of 28 Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend Floating: Yes Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Job Requirements Certifications Required: BLS State License Verification: within 30 days prior to start date Schedule Information Holidays: Expected to work if scheduled during major holidays. Additional Details Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
