Salary: $ 85,000.00 We have partnered with a Public Accounting firm in the Wakefield, MA area to provide them with a Tax Senior. CPA or CPA candidate (local equivalent) 2. 4 years of U.S. tax experience 3. Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles 4. Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, ProSystem fx Tax Responsibilities of the Tax Senior: The firm's clientele ranges from large publicly held corporations to closely held businesses in diverse industries. Responsibilities include: Individual Tax Prepare complex individual income tax returns Perform detailed review of individual income tax returns Perform tax planning for individual tax clients Perform calculations for required estimated tax payments as required Corporate Tax Prepare Corporate ("C" and "S" corporations) and Partnership tax returns Perform trial balance account reconciliations and adjustments for corporate clients Convert a trial balance from accrual basis to cash basis Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements for the Tax Senior: CPA or CPA candidate (local equivalent) 4 years of U.S. tax experience Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organized and detail oriented Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, ProSystem fx Tax Other Key Requirements: Must be local and able to work on a hybrid schedule No sponsorships or visa holders.
