Posting Details Posting Summary Functional Position Title DATA AND REPORTING MANAGER Position Number 00058776 Appointment Type Regular Location-City New Orleans School/Division SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH Department LA Cancer Prev and Control Pgm Position Summary The Data Manager designs and directs data systems, feedback and assessment plans and tools, and evaluation plans for various cancer center Community Outreach and Engagement programs, and develops the dissemination plans of results. The incumbent will serve as the lead for data management, data analysis, and presenting and reporting findings, including key performance measures, in order to evaluate program outputs and outcomes. The role is essential for reporting to organizations and agencies which include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She/he also develops and oversees processes, impact, and outcomes, evaluation plans to assess other specific projects and overall program performance and specific public health initiatives (e.g. Community-based projects, media campaigns). This position is supervised by the Louisiana Cancer Prevention and Control Program's (LCP) Program Director or Assistant Director and will lead LCP's evaluation team. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education Master's If Other Preferred Education, please specify MPH with a concentration in behavioral and community health or epidemiology; MS in health related field Discipline(s) Certifications/Licenses Preferred Indicate the preferred experience to perform the job Two years of experience evaluating public health or community programs or experience working with clinical data or clinic trails. Knowledge of and 1year of experience working in cancer control.
