Granger Construction Company is a family-owned construction company providing construction management and general contracting services throughout Michigan and Ohio.

Position Description

We are accepting applications for Operators seeking to advance their construction careers. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial construction and operating heavy equipment. Candidate must think safety first.

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

• Ability to organize, sequence and perform assigned tasks
• Operate heavy equipment such as forktruck / telehandler
• Operate equipment safely
• Move material on job site as requested

Qualifications and Abilities:

• This is a union position. If not a member of a union, we will assist with membership
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Candidates must have transportation
• Hours may vary and overtime may be required
• Good communication skills
• Travel within a 60-90 minute radius
• Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions
