Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Material Coordinator to join our facility in Lancaster, NY. The candidate will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for assisting in various production tasks and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.ResponsibilitiesAssist CTL Operator in all functions of the lines.Pull orders.Perform as a Help/Packer/Skid Builder.Load and unload trucks.Unload and receive materials, including weighing, counting, and checking sizes. Identify materials by color and heat or test numbers and place into stock racks or designated areas.Saw, cut, package, and mark material according to the customer's specifications.Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.Keep work areas clean and organized.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills1 - 3 years of warehouse/manufacturing experience.Ability to accurately use measuring tools, specifically a tape measure, micrometer, and caliper.Minimum of a high school diploma.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a wide open warehouse with areas designated for different types of machine operating, packaging, storage, and loading. The warehouse is temperature controlled to 55 degrees and requires the use of safety gear, including a helmet, eyewear, and steel toe shoes. Trucks pull into the middle of the warehouse, and cranes on both sides load the beds.
