Job Description · Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) for multiple Agile teams, ensuring the correct use of Scrum practices across different projects. · Manage the Scrum process across multiple, concurrent projects with varying scopes and timelines. Prioritize work, manage conflicting deadlines, and ensure all teams are aligned with organizational goals. · Regularly communicate with stakeholders and leadership to report on project status, risks, and achievements. Ensure alignment with business objectives and overall strategic goals. · Work closely with Product Owners to ensure that product backlogs are well-groomed, prioritized, and aligned with team capacity. Assist in defining sprint goals, ensuring that deliverables align with business objectives. · Manage dependencies between multiple teams working on different projects. Coordinate across teams to align efforts and mitigate risks that may arise due to inter-team dependencies. · Coach and mentor multiple Agile teams on Scrum practices, fostering self-organization, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement. Help teams mature in their Agile journey and improve performance. · Actively identify and remove blockers and impediments that may hinder team progress. Work with teams to find solutions to challenges and ensure smooth workflow across projects. · Ensure that all Scrum activities are transparent and that stakeholders have visibility into the progress, risks, and challenges of each project. Use tools such as Jira to track and communicate project metrics, team progress, and sprint goals. · Encourage teams to embrace continuous improvement by identifying areas of improvement and promoting initiatives like process optimization, automation, and knowledge sharing. · Create an environment where all team members feel empowered to contribute ideas, raise concerns, and collaborate effectively. Skills and Requirements · 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of managing multiple Scrum teams and projects simultaneously. · Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across different teams, manage conflicts, and build strong relationships with Product Owners, stakeholders, and team members. · Experience in removing blockers, managing dependencies across multiple teams, and ensuring project goals are met in a collaborative and timely manner. · Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification. Additional Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, Agile Coach) are a plus. · Strong experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. Experience in managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. · Proven ability to lead teams through the full lifecycle of Agile development, from backlog creation and sprint planning to delivery and retrospective. · Deep understanding of Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, burndown charts, etc.) and how to use them for team performance optimization. · Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar tools for tracking progress, managing backlogs, and visualizing team performance. · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences, including technical teams, executives, and non-technical stakeholders. · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and act decisively in high-pressure situations. · Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple projects. · Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other enterprise-level Agile methodologies is a plus.
