Gibson Arnold & Associates is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee all of the companys technology infrastructure and operations. This is a hands-on position that will be working with and handling all of the companys IT needs, including desktops, printers, phones, cell phones, servers, software, hardware, as well as all other network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our IT systems and facilitate strategic IT initiatives, and ensures the security, performance, and scalability of the companys technology systems. Key Responsibilities: Resolve complex and simple IT issues, providing expert guidance and problem-solving. Provide IT helpdesk support for end-users both in-person and via email, phone, and chat. Configure and maintain equipment including desktops, laptops, virtual machines, printers, and phones. Create and maintain user accounts, including password reset. Provide timely support and resolve technical issues for employees. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network, software, or hardware issues as needed. Ensure that all systems are operating efficiently, with minimal downtime and optimized performance. Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, networking equipment, and communication systems, including patching, rebooting, and performing physical maintenance. Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks. Oversee procurement of IT equipment and software, ensuring compatibility with existing systems. Maintain inventory management of hardware, software, and licenses. Develop and enforce security protocols to protect the companys data, systems, and networks from unauthorized access or attacks. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard critical data and minimize downtime. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Negotiate contracts, monitor service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendors deliver as agreed. Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement the company's IT strategy. Stay updated on technological trends and evaluate new tools and solutions to improve system performance and reduce costs. Provide on-call support after hours, as required, to support critical operations Qualifications: Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 2+ years of experience in IT management. Proven track record of successfully managing IT infrastructure and projects. Hands-on experience with desktop support, network administration, cybersecurity, and enterprise-level software management. Skills : Strong communication, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems. (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP. Microsoft Server/Hyper-V) Proficiency with system monitoring tools, virtualization, and cloud computing platforms and software (Windows desktops, Microsoft 365, Anti-malware such as Avast and Windows Defender. Prefer GroupWise and ACT!.) Prefer hardware experience with HP Servers, desktops, switches, SonicWall Firewalls and SSLVPN access. SonicWall OS. Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. Experience with project management and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues. Certifications

(Preferred but not required): MSCE or other relevant certifications. Working Conditions: Full-time. Occasional after-hours or weekend work for system updates or urgent issues. On-call availability for critical support needs. Salary: $50,000+ depending on experience, health, dental and vision insurance; long-term disability, life insurance, PTO time, and parking/mass transit stipend.
