About the role
As a Machine Learning Intern, you will join our dynamic engineering team to work on projects focused on creating a powerful AI platform that uses data from all our operations. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to engage in innovative NLP research, collaborate across teams, and contribute to solving complex, real-world challenges in the vehicle servicing industry.
Experience & Skills Required
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience in NLP research, particularly in areas such as language modeling, text classification, or sequence-to-sequence models. Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Familiarity with NLP libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, NLTK, or SpaCy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present complex ideas clearly.
Responsibilities
Conduct research to advance the state of the art in NLP, applying findings to enhance our products and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve challenging real-world problems using state-of-the-art NLP techniques. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, NLP, and computer vision, and integrate relevant technologies into our product roadmaps. Assist in developing, training, and fine-tuning NLP models for applications such as named entity recognition and information retrieval. Contribute to data processing pipelines, including data collection, preprocessing, and augmentation. Analyze and interpret model performance, including error analysis and hyperparameter tuning. Prepare research reports, documentation, and presentations of findings and progress.
