Financial Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, and reconciling high-risk balance sheet and operating statement accounts.
Pay $ 65k to 75k
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes. Prepare and record a variety of journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Record cash receipts and prepare accurate bank reconciliations. Organize and reconcile intercompany transactions with affiliates. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, providing detailed analysis and ensuring accuracy. Assist in preparing documents for external audits. Support accounts payable processes as needed. Contribute to the completion of special projects and other financial tasks. Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Provide assistance in additional accounting and general finance duties as assigned. Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-starter with high energy, enthusiasm, and a customer service-focused mindset. Ability to maintain careful attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets efficiently. Proficient in MS Office, accounting software, and databases (Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred). In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial regulations. Education:
BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience:
2 to 5+ years of experience in corporate accounting roles
