Position: Staff Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. Process and record invoices, manage payments, apply receipts, and reconcile any discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial statements. Prepare and distribute financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, along with ad-hoc reports as requested by management. Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping. Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring they align with budgets and comply with company policies. Collaborate with other departments, providing financial insights, supporting audits, and identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements/Qualifications:
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage time, work efficiently, and meet deadlines. Experience with large ERP systems (Sage 100 and Beanwork). 1-2+ years of related experience (preferred). Highly organized and detail oriented. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to ask pertinent questions and exhibit discretion with confidential information. Positive attitude and a strong team player. Capability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite. Accounting degree or relevant work experience. Why Join Us?
