Job Summary
The Senior UX Designer leads the creation of user-centered designs for digital products, focusing on usability, accessibility, and seamless user experiences.
This role involves conducting user research, developing prototypes, and collaborating with stakeholders to align design efforts with business objectives and user needs.
The Senior UX Designer also plays a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the development of scalable design systems.
Key Responsibilities Lead the design process for digital products, ensuring alignment with user needs, accessibility, and visual appeal. Conduct user research, analyze findings, and perform usability testing to refine and validate design solutions. Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features. Deliver high-fidelity designs, ensuring consistency in typography, colors, and layouts across platforms. Define interaction patterns and behaviors to create seamless user experiences. Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system for consistent digital product experiences. Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative, creative environment within the team. Present and justify design ideas to stakeholders using data-driven insights and user feedback. Help shape the long-term UX strategy, aligning it with business goals and user needs. Required Qualifications
9+ years of experience in UX/UI or digital product design, with a track record of leading design projects. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related discipline (or equivalent experience). A robust portfolio showcasing UX principles, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail across digital platforms. Advanced proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision. Experience with user research methods such as interviews, usability testing, and A/B testing. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and designing for multiple device types. Expertise in creating interactive prototypes for validating design concepts. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to articulate design decisions effectively. Proven ability to solve complex UX challenges with user-centered solutions. Experience working in Agile or Lean frameworks. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to enhance collaboration with engineering teams. Familiarity with motion design, micro-interactions, or animation in digital interfaces. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
