NTT DATA's Americas is seeking a Sr UX Designer with User-Centered Design experieince to lead the design process for digital products, focusing on user needs, usability, accessibility, and visual appeal. Research & Testing: Conduct user research, analyze findings, and use insights to drive design decisions. Perform usability testing to refine prototypes and validate design solutions. • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes that demonstrate thoughtful and intuitive design solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle. Visual & Interaction Design: Deliver high-fidelity designs, ensuring consistency in typography, colors, and layouts across platforms. Define the interaction patterns and behavior to create seamless user experiences. Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistent experiences across all digital products. Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of learning, creativity, and collaboration within the team. UX Strategy: Help shape the long-term vision for the user experience, aligning design efforts with business goals and user needs. Stakeholder Communication: Present and communicate design ideas clearly to stakeholders and justify design choices through data-driven insights and user feedback. Required Skills And Qualifications
Experience: 9+ years of experience in UX/UI design, digital product design, or related fields. Experience in leading design projects from ideation to completion. Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of UX principles, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail across digital platforms (web, mobile, etc.). Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, or similar platforms. UX Research: Experience in user research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, A/B testing, and analytics. Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design principles and how to design across multiple device types and screen sizes. Prototyping: Expertise in creating interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and gather user feedback. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and lead discussions around design thinking. Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex UX problems with creative and user-centered solutions. Agile/Lean: Experience working within Agile or Lean frameworks is a plus. Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. Familiarity with motion design, micro-interactions, or animation in digital interfaces. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is
$45 to $53
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered. Company benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, life, and AD&D insurance, short-and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits .
